Sterling’s Restaurant began in 1982 with Jim Sterling’s dream and a passion for great food. From cradling his newborn daughter, Saber, in his arms at the restaurant, to now running the show with her own family, Sterling’s is built on love, tradition, and unforgettable flavors. Serving the Tri-Cities for over 40 years, we continue to blend family values with timeless taste in every dish.
A Dream, A Family, and A Restaurant!
In 1982, Jim Sterling set out to build something more than just a restaurant. With years of experience across the U.S., he wanted to create a place where family, tradition, and exceptional food could come together. Little did he know, this dream would become a cornerstone of the Tri-Cities. From the very beginning, Jim’s daughter, Saber, was part of the journey—literally introduced to the restaurant at 18 hours old! The Sterling legacy was born, and it was destined to last.

Growing Pains & Triumphs – From One Location to Three
Sterling’s didn’t stop growing after its humble beginnings. In 2008, Jim and Saber expanded with a second location in Kennewick, and by 2011, the family opened a third location in Richland, designed by Jim himself. Every step along the way, Sterling’s stayed true to its roots: providing exceptional food, service, and an inviting atmosphere for the Tri-Cities. From father to daughter, this was more than just business.
A Legacy in Full Bloom!
In 2023, after over 40 years of dedicated service, Jim passed the baton to his daughter, Saber, and her husband, Clint. Today, Sterling’s is run with the same love, care, and commitment Jim instilled from the start. With young children Dash and Demi already growing up in the business, the legacy is in full bloom, and the family story continues. We’re excited to keep serving you for years to come, with the same passion and dedication that’s made Sterling’s a Tri-Cities favorite.
